How answers are verified
Similar isn't the same as right. A search can find a passage that looks close to a question but answers something else, so Kenby checks every passage before an answer may use it.
The three steps
Find. Kenby searches your knowledge base by meaning and by keywords and shortlists the passages most likely to answer the question.
Verify. Each passage is checked on its own: does it state facts that answer the question, fully or in part? Each gets a confidence score.
Answer. The answer is written from verified passages only, with a citation for every sentence or list item.
What you see
Verified passages (90% confidence or more) are the only ones an answer uses.
Possible matches (50 to 90%) are shown to you to read, never used in the answer.
Anything lower is left out.
When nothing is verified, Kenby says your knowledge base doesn't answer the question instead of guessing, and shows the closest possible matches.
Names that look alike
Two people or things can share a name, like two customers called Sofia. Kenby treats them as the same only when the passages show it (a full name, company or email) and never merges their facts. Names match with or without accents ("Sofía" and "Sofia").
AI apps connected to Kenby get the same verified passages (see Connecting AI apps).
