What is Kenby
Kenby is the home of your knowledge: one knowledge base for your notes, policies, docs and imported files, with accurate, cited answers for you, your team and your AI agents.
The name joins "ken" (knowledge, as in "beyond my ken") and the Old Norse "-by" (a home, a settlement).
What it does
Keeps your knowledge in one place. Write notes, import files or paste a web link. See Importing files.
Answers questions from your own words. Every answer is built only from passages Kenby has verified, and cites each one. When nothing in the knowledge base answers a question, Kenby says so instead of guessing. See How answers are verified.
Shows how your notes connect. A graph draws your notes, their links and their categories. See Links, categories and the graph.
Works with your AI apps. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and other apps can search your knowledge base and, if you allow it, add and edit notes. See Connecting AI apps.
Who it is for
Individuals who want answers from their own notes, teams that need one source of truth for policies and docs, and anyone whose AI agents should answer from facts instead of guesses.
