Version history and trash
Version history
Every change to a note's title, category, text or tags keeps the version it replaced, whether you made the change or a connected AI app did. Kenby keeps the newest 50 versions of each note.
Open a note and choose History to see each version, who made it (you or the app's name) and the lines that changed. Restore brings an earlier version back as a new edit, so nothing in between is lost.
Trash
Deleting a note moves it to Trash in the sidebar. A note in the trash is out of your knowledge base: it isn't searched, AI apps can't see it and it doesn't count toward your pages.
Restore a note within 30 days, with its history and who added it.
After 30 days, the note is deleted for good, with its versions.
Every delete in Kenby asks for confirmation first.
AI apps can't delete notes at all (see Agent tools).
